Fees, Funding & Sessions

Copy of IMG 0590Our Nursery year starts in September and runs through until July, this is called an academic year. Nursery is open 8:40am to 3:10pm Monday to Friday during term time, which supports the school day and our school holiday periods are also the same.

We offer fully funded Nursery places with no hidden charges. Parents who can claim the early years funded entitlement can take their funding between the main Nursery opening hours of 8:40am to 3:10pm. If your child is not old enough for funding or does not meet eligibility for the extended entitlement, parents are offered the opportunity to pay for a place at our Nursery. Remember you may also be able to access other financial support towards your childcare costs, such as tax-free childcare.

ALL children are eligible for 15 hours of Nursery funding a week from the term after they turn three, this is called the "universal offer".

Working parents may be eligible for an additional 15 hours a week, an extended entitlement and often called "30 hours funding".

Some two-year-olds may also be eligible for funding from the term after they turn two.

Please visit the Childcare Choices website for full details on early years funding: Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Free Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK

15 or 30 hour funding codes - September 2024

If your child is due to start at our nursery from September 2024 and you think as a working parent you are eligible for 2 year old funding (15 hours term time) or 30 hours of nursery funding for 3 and 4 year olds, you MUST apply for your code before 31st August 2024 to ensure your funding can start from 1st September 2024. However, we will need to check codes before the end of the summer term so please let us have your code before 30th June 2024.

Please check your eligibility here.

You should apply for your code even if you don’t think at this stage you want to use it. Things might change and the code is only valid from the term after you apply.

For example:

·         Apply for your code and receive it by 31st August 2024 - use it from 1st September 2024 onwards

·         Apply for your code and receive it by  31st December 2024 – use it from 1st January 2025 onwards
