Day 3 IOW
It has been another action packed day on our #IsleOfWight2018 residential trip. After breakfast, and another round of room inspections, we left to go Dinosaur Isle to learn about the various fossils and dinosaur remains that have been found on the Isle of Wight. This involved a museum tour and a detailed talk where the children all got to hold various fossil that were tens of millions of years old.
In the afternoon we walked to the Isle Of Wight Zoo around the corner and the children got the chance to learn about the all the animals that live there, including lions, tigers, monkeys, stick insects, cockroaches and rabbits. Then, after a delicious evening roast turkey dinner or vegetable lasagne, the children had the choice of the park or beach to expend some more energy before bedtime.
