Day 2 IOW

Another action packed day on our #IsleOfWight2018 residential.  It has been all systems go from the moment we woke up.  After our breakfast, we were at the glass factory, watching a demonstration on how to create a glass vase by hand.  After the visit to the gift shop, we yomped up the hill to the Needles Old Battery to see the fortifications by the Needles rocks.

Once we had seen the sights, we marched back down to the coach and travelled off to Black Gang Chine theme park to experience the dinosaurs, the Tea Cups, the Rollercoaster, the water slide, the haunted house, the pirate adventure area, the maze and finally the Dodo’s!

This evening, for those children who still had energy after their sausage, chips and beans, there was the choice of the park or the beach.  Everyone is now in bed, dreaming of the adventures that await tomorrow!
