Hockey Tournament
Well done to the children who took part in the Caterham District Hockey Tournament at Woldingham School. The pupils all represented the school fantastically and their behaviour was excellent at all times. At first, the children had some skill games to practise their skills before the tournament began. Despite some difficult oppoisition, Whyteleafe School managed to finish a very credible 2nd and scored some lovely goals.
The Whyteleafe Player of the Tournament was Poppy Coleman.
Match Report by Harry Coleman
"We went to Warlingham School to play in the Caterham District Tournament. In the final, we played really well in the first half but the other team scored lots more in the second half. I really enjoyed the game and being part of a school team. My player of the tournament was Natasha because she stopped lots of shots on goal."
